Energy – Wind

The Coahuila Wind Farm is designed to produce 199.5 MW of total power from 95 WTG Gamesa wind turbines of 2.1 MW each. Our team provided all design services related to the project, including technical due diligence, permitting, basic design, detailed design issued for construction, and topographical and geotechnical survey. The project involved design of approximately 31 miles of inner roads in embankment, as well as over 240,000 m3 of cuttings. The project features a medium voltage system of 34.5 kV, approximately 64 miles of cable, and more than 43 miles of optical fiber. The wind farm substation is 34.5/230 kV, and the high voltage line is 230 kV and 3.1 miles. The project site also includes a CFE interconnection substation and two bridges crossing over the Ferromex railway.
