Lone Valley Solar Plants I & II

AZTEC provided final design services for the development of two sites: Lone Valley Solar Park I, a 10 MW photovoltaic (PV) solar plant, and Lone Valley Solar Park II, a 20 MW PV solar plant, totaling approximately 500 acres, in San Bernardino County, California. AZTEC performed all of the detailed civil, electrical and mechanical design for the project including development of the Owner’s specifications for the plants. The project required producing design plans for roadways, array layout configurations and detailed design of the PV plant systems. The electrical and mechanical design of the PV plants involved preparation of design drawings for the tracker block layouts and details, trenching and cabling design, inverter details, security system design and grounding and single line diagrams. In support of the project, AZTEC also performed survey services prior to the civil design work.
